Fall 2025 Fashion Trends

Back in my buying office days, our trend office who was based in Italy would attend runway shows from the high end fashion houses and shop Europe to bring back samples, idea boards, and trends that they were seeing for the upcoming seasons so that we could buy our collection accordingly for our stores.

I put together for you what I’m seeing trending for Fall 25! I have linked to all items below each picture! If you pick up anything this season, definitely snag a few chocolate or espresso brown pieces, some stripes or a preppy cardigan, an animal print item, and a suede or faux suede piece. Jeans are still more of a looser fit, wide leg, barrel leg, and some boot cut, as well as a little bit of skinny making their way back in. Not sure I can go back to skinny now, can you?

Swim Haul 2025

Do you have a fun vaca planned and need some swimsuit ideas? I hope you find some here!! I’ve rounded up my newest affordable swimsuits and cover ups for you in one easy place!

First things first, I am not a swimsuit model, nor do I claim to be. I am a 45 year old Mom taking pics of herself in swimsuits in February in Massachusetts! Oh my! haha! So, if you are in the market to see swimsuits on a regular sized woman like myself, you are in the right place! I typically wear size 10 in pants, M/L in tops, bust 36C, and size L in swimsuits. I am 5’7”.

I don’t do cheeky swimsuits so all of these will be mid to full coverage bottoms. I also am NOT busty (haha!) so my suits don’t need extra support up top. When I comment TTS, that just means that the garment fit me True to Size. Many times when I order swimsuits, I order my TTS and a size up to decide what fit I like best. You may want to try ordering that way too. Swimsuits are personal and we are all different shapes and sizes. I do my best to help on sizing but I also HIGHLY recommend you to check reviews to see if any reviewers have similar measurements to you to help you on sizing as well.

Same swimsuit in two different prints! The off the shoulder detail is so stunning on this one and the ruching around the middle really flatters my tummy which is where I carry my weight.

FIT TIPS: I’m wearing my normal size L in the swimsuit, but size up if in between or if you are busty. Sandals on left TTS.

I love a great leopard print! This is a comfy suit but I do wish it had some ruching in the front to conceal the tummy a bit more. This cover up is my FAVE cover up of the entire haul! Super comfy and sexy!

I LOVE the colors in this suit! The back is gorgeous too! I wish I would have thought to take a pic of it! This cover up is also on my list of FAVES! And the pop of pink is so fun!

FIT TIPS: I am going to reorder this suit in the next size up as I feel it pulls a little on me, so consider sizing up. It is a bit more cheeky than the rest of the suits but still not overly cheeky. I’m wearing size L in the coverup and it runs a little big but that’s ok, I’m going to stick with it as I like the length on me.

I own this swimsuit in a Hot Pink color combo too! It is such a comfy suit and one of my most reached for so I decided to grab it in Black as well! I loved it paired with this super lightweight cover up! It is very thin/sheer so it will pack up easy! So chic!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit TTS L for me but does run a smidge big. Coverup also runs a little big. I’m in L, likely could have done M.

This suit was a surprise fave! I bought it in two colors! Check out next pic too! It gives a little peek a boo yet still conceals my middle area! I own this hat in two color combos now!

I own this suit in a few prints now! When I saw this new one, I had to snag it too! I think this is seriously my most comfortable suit of this entire haul! It just feels good and I love the details!

Walmart Shorts and Pants Haul!

Are you already a Walmart fashion shopper? If yes, awesome to hear it, what a smarty pants you are! If not, I hope this post shows you some great affordable options that you might think about trying out! Walmart has really stepped up their fashion game over the last few years and I find myself buying tooo much from there now! hahaha!

Anyways, hope you enjoy my haul! All links to shop are under each picture as well as fit tips and a description. When it comes to shorts, I tend to size up if in between. Nothing looks worse than having too tight of shorts. So when in doubt I go up. Who cares what the tag says my friends! Let’s start off casual with a GREAT pair of denim shorts! Nice and stretchy, not too short, and the hem is tacked so they won’t unroll! My exact tee comes in and out of stock but there are other graphic options too!

FIT TIPS: Tee TTS L. It has a relaxed fit. Shorts I am in between sizes so I went up as I don’t like tight shorts. They have plenty of stretch though so TTS should be good.

Believe it or not, in both looks I’m wearing the same exact trouser shorts! Trouser shorts and pants are trending this spring! They are so versatile. I dressed them up on the left and down on the right. Walmart is a great place to give this trend a try! I love the longer length!

FIT TIPS: Left look: Shorts I am in between sizes so I went up to L, but TTS will be fine. Tank size up. Blazer TTS. Right look: Shorts I am in between sizes so I went up to L, but TTS will be fine. Tee TTS or size up for more oversized. Jacket TTS L. Sandals TTS.

These utility cuff shorts are the perfect length at a 4” inseam. Best part for me is the pockets! I hate when pockets stick out on the side. These lay flat. There is also stretch at the back waistband which makes them super comfy and perfect for tucking in tops!

FIT TIPS: Shorts I am in between sizes so I went up, but TTS will be just fine. Tank size up. Sandals on left I am TTS but many people size up half.

Ladies, can you believe parachute pants are back?! I owned these back in the day! Such a comfy fit! I was on the hunt for a non cropped denim jacket and this one is perfect. It has a boyfriend fit which is more on trend this spring.

FIT TIPS: Tank size up. Jacket TTS L. Pants run a little big. I’m in L but M would have been better.

I LOVE THESE JEANS! Sorry I’m yelling but darn it these are good! I love a cropped jean. I am 5’7” for reference. The middle kimono and sandals are also awesome Walmart finds!! That kimono would even make a nice swim cover up!

FIT TIPS: Jeans I sized up based on reviews. They run a bit small however they do stretch a bit with wear. Tank size up. Middle kimono TTS L. Right cardigan TTS L. Sandals TTS.

Tank // Pants // Shoes //Necklaces

Love this softer take on the cargo pant! They are nice and lightweight and have the prettiest feminine ruching and tie and the hems. I own two pairs of these sandals and the style is right on trend this season!

Swim Haul 2023

It’s the fun time of year when we have vaca’s and summer weather on our minds! I ordered up a bunch of swimsuits and coverups and can’t wait to share them with you!

Let me start off with a *full disclaimer. I am not a swimsuit model, nor do I claim to be. I am a 43 year old Mom! I enjoy going to the gym and eating healthy but I also enjoy visiting my fave local brewery (Skyline) and I rarely pass up dessert. LOL. If you are in the market to see swimsuits on a regular sized gal like myself, you are in the right place! I typically wear size 10 in pants, M/L in tops, bust 36C, and I typically wear L or 10/12 in swimsuits and jackets. I am 5’7”.

Well I’m starting off with my FAVE swimsuit of the whole haul! The print is gorgeous and this suit is just so flattering! You can wear it strapless or as a halter tie around your neck. I preferred to tie it around my neck because it gives the girls a lift and this Momma needs it! LOL! These coverup pants are so comfy and versatile for the beach or pool to bar! So affordable too!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit fits TTS. I’m wearing size L. Pants run a bit big. Size down if in between. I fit in both M and L in the pants but ended up keeping the L because I liked the length better. I am 5’7”. Flip Flops fit TTS.

The scalloped detail is so pretty on this swimsuit! It does flip over occasionally so if that would bother you then pass. I love it though and I feel like little mermaid in it! haha! I like that it gives the look of a two piece but is a one piece! The coverup is perfect for wearing around a resort or to the beach. Plenty of coverage but still airy! Don’t forget a hat for your next trip! I own this one in two colors now!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit fits TTS. I’m wearing size L. Coverup is a one size fits all and comes in many colors! Flip Flops fit TTS. Hat fits average to larger sized noggins. If you have a smaller head you may want to pass.

This swimsuit has been a page fave for some time! You might already own one! I certainly do! I think I own 5 at this point! Love the print on this coverup! This one will work great with any swimsuits with high necks or one shoulders!

This swimsuit was a surprise LOVE! I don’t typically wear two pieces because I carry my weight around my middle but the high waist bottoms helps with coverage and the colors in the print are so fun!! I will mention though that you may need a second person to help you buckle the top. I had my hubby do it for me.

FIT TIPS: This suit fit me TTS in a size L. Pants run a bit big. Size down if in between. I fit in both M and L in the pants but ended up keeping the L because I liked the length better. I am 5’7”. Flip Flops fit TTS. Hat fits average to larger sized noggins. If you have a smaller head you may want to pass.

I had to show both pics for this swimsuit as it is so versatile!! It’s a pricier suit but you can feel the quality. Super comfortable. One reviewer said the strap in the back twisted a bit on them which mine does too but it is a thin strap and not noticeable or a deal breaker for me. This blue coverup is MY FAVE of this haul! Fitted, comfy, sexy and the color is so FUN! I ordered 3 different pairs of denim shorts and these were my fave of them all. They are more rigid not super stretchy so they will hold their shape better. Great length and perfect over swimsuits! Fun bracelet stack is so colorful and perfect with a tan! Mine is a spray tan but that’s the only way for me to tan. hahaha!!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit ran a bit large on me (especially in the bust) so I’d size down if in between. Coverup was TTS on me. I’m in size L. It is meant to be more fitted. (SO CUTE) Flip flops are TTS. Shorts TTS but size up if inbetween.

Last up I wanted to show you 3 more coverup ideas!! First one has a boho look! Second has such a pretty print and very comfy to wear! The last one is so classic and love the crochet detail!

FIT TIPS: Coverup 1 is a one size fits all. Coverup 2 fits big. I’m in a M with room so size down! Coverup 3 is one size fits all.

Affordable Swim Haul!

This swimsuit has a beautiful back that I did a terrible job taking a pic of, so head over to the above link to check it out! My color is deep merlot. This suit was super flattering around the middle and had nice support in the bust. It almost had a sports bra feel to me which was very comfortable. The cover up on the left is last years color combo but this years is almost exact and is linked above. Love the midi length on it! The kimono on the right is very versatile and would be great with a black tank and shorts as well as over a black dress!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit runs snug. I’d size up or at least size up if in between. Many reviewers sized up as well. Coverup on the left runs big, so size down. I’m in the S/M. Kimono on the right is one size. Sandals I am TTS, but many reviewers size up half.

This is my fave suit of the entire swim haul! I already owned this style in black but this red rose print is just stunning! It’s a great suit for moms chasing kids but is also super sassy! It easily transitions to poolside drinks after a busy day! My hat is the 01-fold belt khaki. I’ve owned it for awhile and it travels well. Sunnies were my fave pair from my recent Quay haul!

Well I liked this suit so much I bought it in a few colors! This one is called Green Leaves and has major Lilly Pulitzer vibes but for a more affordable cost! My exact cover up is sold out but I found some similar options! Sunnies are the non polarized gold/gold combo!

Ok ok I promise this is the last color in this suit! But isn’t it gorgeous?! This one is the royal blue! Coverup is a fun print and is called Blue! It also would be cute over a white tank top and shorts! Very versatile!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit in the solid color ran not as tight as the prints. I’d size up if in between though. Coverup runs big. Size down. Flip flops size up for half sizes.

So if you are looking for a sexy suit for a ladies getaway or an Anniversary weekend, this one is it! It is low cut and super cheeky. So pass if that’s not your thing! It is very comfortable though!! I think I’d prefer this one with a little sarong (this one is a steal) or with a pair of cutoff shorts! The ruffles are adorable and looks like a chic bodysuit!

FIT TIPS: Swimsuit size up if in between. Sarong size down if in between. I’m in a L but M likely would have been fine. Flip flops size up for half sizes.

Last look is perfect for a casual day! This suit has nice coverage and I loved this fun print! Hat has been a page best seller! Great price and so easy to throw in your tote or beach bag! Can’t go wrong with these $10 sandals too!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 Try On!

I was excited to be able to shop in store this week to try on some items ahead of the sale opening up to Nordstrom Influencer status! If you have the card, you’ll be able to shop the NSALE starting tomorrow 7/16. If you do not, your day to shop is 7/28. This top is a splurge from the brand Rails. Tina was my consultant while at the store and she brought this to me to try. I can see why Rails are all the rage! Super soft and comfy!

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan // Jeans // Mules

This Barefoot Dreams cardigan is always a favorite of the sale! They are super soft and I love the more fitted sleeve with the curved hem. These jeans are from the Wit & Wisdom Ab-solution line! Super comfy and flattering!

Sweaty Betty Sweatshirt

I had not tried anything from this line before so decided to give it a whirl. It is a nicely made sweatshirt and this color really caught my eye!

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan // Tank // Alo Ribbed Sweatpants

These Alo Ribbed Sweatpants were brought to my fitting room from my consultant Tina. I wasn’t sure at first about them but I decided to try them! They are SOOO comfy ladies! Perfect for winter in Massachusetts that’s for sure!

I try to look at my closet and see what I actually need before ordering too much from the sale. I usually pick up a few new pairs of jeans. This year I’m eyeing these two pairs from Madewell and Kut from the Kloth . I also try to pick up versatile pieces that will coordinate well with each other so I get plenty of wear out of them throughout the season. Shop the above look roundup below.

The Skinny on the Non-Skinny jeans!

So we’ve all heard the scoop that skinny jeans are making their way out. Personally I don’t see them going away but I do think it’s ok to try something new as long as you find good options that are flattering and make you feel your best! I decided to order a crap ton of non-skinny jeans, weed through the duds, and show you the ones that I think might work for you depending on what you are looking for. Styles are mostly boyfriend fit, slim fit and more relaxed Mom jeans, distressed, and non distressed. Prices range from $18-$89 and are from American Eagle, Walmart, Old Navy, and Kut from the Kloth. I’ll give a quick review and fit tips under each pic. I’ll also have a reels video clip that shows all the pairs going up on Instagram shortly so keep an eye out there! My size in jeans these days is a 10 for reference. Some pairs may have limited sizes so be sure to follow me on my Facebook Page as I will be sure to post restocks there! For the sake of consistency I wore the same top and shoes with each pair. These are the shoes. You may have to type in "foreseen" for the style to come up. I typ wear shoe size 8.5-9 and I am wearing the 9's. My top is in and out of stock. I wear it in size L. And here we go…

AE Tomgirl Jean - Medium Destroy // #1 These are a relaxed, chill, non distressed jean. Lower rise, slouchy, cotton with no stretch. These might be a bit too slouchy for me personally but I think it depends on the look you are going for. FIT TIP: TTS. I ordered a size up because at AE I sometimes have to size up, but I think I would have been fine TTS as I have room in these.

AE Mom Jean - Cool Classic // #2 These are a higher waisted true Mom Jean. They have a comfort stretch waist band and are a relaxed slouchy fit. No stretch in the leg. They have nicely placed holes at the knees. I really like this pair as I’m a distressed jeans gal and with the slouchier fit, they are really quite comfy compared to skinnies. FIT TIP: TTS

Kut from the Kloth Lauren Crop // #3 Sizes are getting limited in my color but this color is in stock. This pair has a much slimmer leg than the above two pairs. No distressing either. If you are on the shorter side, I think you will like these. Some cropped jeans aren’t short enough but these are a nice short crop. They have stretch and a mid rise. Very flattering on the leg. Kut makes great jeans so you get what you pay for here. FIT TIP: TTS.

Kut from the Kloth Elizabeth Crop // #4 These are cropped but if you are on the shorter side I’d pass as they will be too long on you. I am 5’7” and I love the slightly cropped length on me. I actually really love these jeans. They are a great quality and have a similar relaxed vibe to the AE pair #1 but is less full in the leg and are very comfortable. They have no distressing in the front but the back hem near ankle has a fun pop of distressing. FIT TIP: Size down if in between.

Walmart No Boundaries Mom Jeans - Medium Wash // #5 Ok this pair and the next pair are legit $18 at Walmart. I LOVE them! If you are new to Mom jeans, these should be what you try. Super flattering, nice big knee holes, high rise, and just look great on! FIT TIP: Don’t get stuck on a number here. These are junior sizing. You will NEED to size up one from your adult/missy size in order for these to fit. Reviewers say the black runs even smaller so keep that in mind. Get the size right here and you’ll want all the colors! Cut the label out if you don’t like the #. No one gives a shit though I promise. ;)

Walmart No Boundaries Mom Jeans - light wash // #6 Ok this pair is the same pair as the above but in a lighter wash and again only $18 at Walmart. Let me tell you…this wash with a sweet tan on your legs, and you’ll be a smoke show! FIT TIP: Don’t get stuck on a number here. These are junior sizing. You will NEED to size up one from your adult/missy size in order for these to fit. Reviewers say the black runs even smaller so keep that in mind. Get the size right here and you’ll want all the colors! Cut the label out if you don’t like the #. Again, no one gives a shit I promise. ;)

Old Navy Mid Rise Boyfriend cut offs // #7 These are a great non distressed, mid rise, not too light, not too dark pair of jeans. Very comfortable. These would be a great option for a dress down Friday at work as you can easily dress this refined pair up or wear more casually. These will work great for those that have a shorter torso and don’t do so well with a higher rise. FIT TIP: TTS.

Old Navy Mid Rise Boyfriend // #8 These are a not so slouchy distressed option. Looks nice rolled or unrolled at the hem. The holes aren’t too open as well. Mid rise here so also a great option for those that don’t like a higher rise. FIT TIP: TTS, or size up if in between. These felt a smidge snugger than the above pair.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Try On!

Ok, so technically I can’t shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale until Monday, but I CAN add things to my wishlist now! So can you! You can get the full calendar of when you can shop the sale here on their site. I highly recommend you take a look at your closet to see what you have and what you could use for Fall….like really use. I am trying to stick with classic items that I will get plenty of everyday use out of considering…corona virus still making things weird this Fall. Head to Nordstrom’s Anniversary SALE PREVIEW and start adding to your wish list now so as soon as you are able to shop, you will be able to just move your items to your cart! I will be placing online orders and doing curbside pickup for this sale as I’m still not comfortable trying things on in fitting rooms. BP Sleepy Tee // Originally $19, now $11.90. This tee is LIFE ladies. I own many of them. They are such a cool relaxed tee that you can wear with loungewear around the house, with jean shorts, or under all your cardigans this fall. it is comfy and I HIGHLY recommend it. FIT TIP: It runs a little big, so size down if you don’t want it oversized. I’m in the M here and it fits exactly as I like it.

Blondo Waterproof Booties // Originally $149.95, now $69.90. Love the color of these as they are so versatile. The fact that they are waterproof gives the New England girls more wear into the Winter! FIT TIP: Fit TTS.

Barbour Jacket // Originally $280, now $176.90. Amazing quality and price. This brand rarely goes on sale! Mine is actually last years version but this years is sooo close. This jacket is a perfect Fall coat option for those in cooler climates and a great winter coat option for those in warmer climates. FIT TIP: Last years was TTS, however check the fit comments on this years model to see if any add’l fit comments.

Born Boots // Originally $249.95, now $149.90. Every year I say I don’t need another pair of boots and every.dang.year Born comes out with a new pair that I love! The pair I am wearing is last years but this years is similar with a little bit of country which is so me…so yup I’ll be buying these. I find Born boots so comfortable and beautiful quality. Always a page best seller. Highly recommend them. FIT TIP: I am typically TTS.

The North Face Miss Metro II Parka // Originally $320, now $224.90. If you live in a cold climate you just can’t go wrong with this one! I have an older one that I’ve had for years and it’s still going strong! FIT TIP: I sized up to an L which is my normal coat size and still have room for sweaters.

The North Face Rissy 2 Raincoat // Originally $120, now $84.90. Every year the NSale showcases a North Face rain coat and I am loving the longer length on this one. FIT TIP: This one says it runs small so I’d size up.

BP Sleepy Tee // Originally $19, now $11.90. FIT TIP: It runs a little big, so size down if you don’t want it oversized. I’m in the M here and it fits exactly as I like it.

Zella Joggers // Originally $59, now $38.90. Every year they come out with the same pair just with a slight detail change. Love the material on these and the new drawstring detail this year! Highly recommend. FIT TIP: Fits TTS.

Zella Leggings // Originally $59, now $38.90. What can I say? These are just a great basic legging. Super slimming around the tummy. Stays up. I wear mine to the gym but also with tall boots and tunics. Super versatile and a great price during the sale. FIT TIP: Fits TTS.

Adidas Swift Run Sneaker // Originally $85, now $49.90. These sneaks have been a page best seller forever and I’m so excited they are restocked and ON SALE! FIT TIP: Size down a half size. They run a bit big.

Tory Burch Handbag // Originally $248, now $149.90. Mine is last years version but this years is almost identical. Highly recommend these cute bags for on the go or a dinner out.

Madewell Remi Mule // Originally $99, now $49.90. My print is from last year but there is one almost identical available this year. Highly recommend these! They look polished but are super comfy and functional! FIT TIP: TTS, Size up if in between.

Ugg Slippers // Originally $89.95, now $59.90. Every year Ugg slippers go fast! This pair is on my wishlist this year! These make great gifts too so be sure to keep your holiday gifts in mind on this one.

Ugg Cozette Slippers // Originally $79.95, now $49.90. At less than $50 this makes an amazing gift idea as well! I love these for the warmer climate girls too!

Barefoot Dreams Cardigan // Originally $134, now $79.90. If you have anything Barefoot Dreams on your wish lists, don’t wait on em. These will likely sell out. They feel like butter and are SO COZY.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is right around the corner ladies!! This sale is one of my absolutely faves to shop! This is a sale on all new Fall brand name items! This isn’t leftover merchandise from the year before! Best time to snag a deal on our favorite brands like Hunter, Ugg, Barefoot Dreams, Vince Camuto, Spanx, and the list goes on! I rounded up my picks of the sale here!

Budget Friendly Farmhouse Inspired Half Bath Remodel

During quarantine, my husband and I decided to tackle our half bath. It had served it’s purpose but was in need of some major updating. Please understand that we are NOT do it your selfers. I like to decorate and paint but in terms of replacing flooring, this was a new concept for us. We usually prefer to pay someone to do it the “right” way, but we felt we could handle the flooring replacement and save us some money. And while there were a few swear words (actually maybe more than a few LOL), my hubby got the flooring done and it looks amazing! I’ve linked some items within the blog post but for easy access they can ALL also be found at the end of the post in one place! Here’s the before pic.

One of the first things I did was painted. And yes I tackled it on my own. It’s a small room and I like to paint as long as I don’t have to be on a ladder! I went with the color “Agreeable Gray” by Sherwin Williams but we used Benjamin Moore Paint as a friend who is a painter really recommended the quality of paint. We ended up keeping the same vanity since it is nice quality with a granite top. Our mirror I’ve owned forever but I linked up some similar options at the end of the post! We got a new light fixture as our old one was so dated. I’ve really been enjoying the Farmhouse vibe so I picked one that looks like mason jars with an edison bulb inside. Getting the right bulb took me quite a few tries as I wanted it to look vintage but still give off enough light. I preferred the clear in soft white. We also got new blinds that look like wood.

The before and after still blows my mind. I quite enjoy using the potty now. ha! Sorry! If you know me, you know I appreciate potty and poop jokes! Anyways, let’s talk about the flooring for a minute. It’s a laminate plank flooring. My girlfriend used it in her house and it came out so beautiful. My exact color is Crestwood Gray but they discontinued it to a new name Dowden Gray. It uses the same pictures in the new version as mine. Very easy to install but of course all the angles near the doorway had my hubby losing his mind. But in terms of install…super easy and perfect Farmhouse vibe! We debated on spray painting our old vent but our old one had some rust and we found this perfect one and it was only like $15.

Now let’s get to the fun stuff! The home decor! Like I said before Farmhouse has been my jam recently and these shelves were such a great quality find and come in a set of 2. I like that they are floating shelves so the hardware doesn’t show. My color is the dark walnut but they come in a few different colors.

Styling the shelves was so much fun! This little faux potted plant is so versatile. I have them in a few spots in my home as I DO NOT have a green thumb. I love little signs and I liked the black one as it gave some nice depth. I just couldn’t help myself with the “wash your hands, ya filthy animal” one. It was an Etsy find and hand made so it took some time to ship but it was affordable and beautiful quality. All items will also be linked at the end of the post to shop easily! I also wanted to find a tidy spot for extra toilet paper and tissues as well as a new trash can. The cute rustic toothbrush holder and wall window pane finished off the look!

Recent Amazon Dress Haul!

I admittedly am not a huge dress girl. I tend to prefer rompers. However I always think dresses look so beautiful on others. I wanted to order some affordable options as there was no way I was gonna order this “non-dress girl” expensive dresses if you know what I mean. And the verdict is….consider myself officially a “newbie dress girl”! hahaha!! Stay tuned for my 3 Amazon finds that I am in LOVE with! Details and links to shop will be under all images!

This off the shoulder dress is made of a soft cotton/spandex blend! This is a good option for some of the shorter ladies. I had read that it ran a little short so I was sure to stick with size L to be sure I had enough length. I am 5’7” and tend to bounce between size M and L. The L worked perfect on me and not too short on my 5’7” frame. I’d say it runs TTS but if you are tall and in between sizes, size up. Beautiful option that can be worn more casually but also dressed up. Great idea for summer weddings, winery trips, and date nights! Many colors to choose from! Available in size XS-XL. Next up is this beautiful flowy summer maxi! Perfect for a beach cover up or for you ladies that love the boho look! The back of it is open and GORGEOUS as well!! This one runs on the long side and is a perfect length on me at 5’7”. My straps are adjustable though so that does help you to bring the length up a little. Another option for the ladies on the shorter side is to tie the side slits at the bottom. I’ll insert another picture below for you to see how it looks tied up. Definitely brings up the length.

COZY FAVORITES WITH A TOUCH OF SASS

Social distancing from the fridge? Hmmm…I think not! We have been enjoying our family ice cream sundae nights around here! Hopefully the exercise is balancing it out…hopefully. Haha! One thing is for certain…the jeans are on the shelf and all my cozy favorites are on repeat around here. If you have been feeling like you want to add to your athleisure looks for while you are home, I got your back! Ahhh…camo…we meet again. I love the soft pink tones here mixed with a pretty bralette. I own a few pair of these fleece lined socks from Ugg and they are so nice and warm for relaxing at home. I was able to find some colors are on sale too.

I love this look because it really shows how versatile these athleisure looks can be. You can wear these pieces at home for now but once we get the green light to head out you can easily transition them into wear out looks. Add a jean jacket, a cute shoe, some accessories and you easily transition from at home chic to on the go Momma!

Oh ladies, take advantage of the 30% off sale happening at Athleta. It ends on 4/6. This spotted sweatshirt is from there and it is SOFT. I get complimented on it every time I wear it. Many of us own these amazing fleece pullovers from Abercrombie. They come in a range of colors and I have had mine for awhile. Sometimes I don’t want to raise the heat too high at the house because I get stuffy so I’ve been opting to throw one of these on. Size up if in between. I’m in the L.

Another one of those looks that will easily transition from wear at home to wear out and about. These tees come in a 2 pack from Amazon and are a great quality. I size up. This cardigan is pricey but is by Barefoot Dreams and is like wearing the coziest robe/blanket/cardigan. Highly recommend. Cardigan and shoes fit true to size.

I love a good long sleeve tee and this one from Amazon is a beautiful quality and fits great. I kind of pulled it off the shoulder to give it a bit more sass but this can easily be worn with jeans or shorts and a regular bra. Speaking of bras…I wear one “most” of the time these days. LOL.

Seriously a great top here!! It is a soft lightweight fleece and so easy to wear. Available in many colors and prints. I wear this for nights out with jeans too. It’s a super versatile piece and is on sale right now! This little headband just makes feel cute. That is all. LOL!

I own this top in many colors. I have owned them for YEARS! It’s so comfy and is very wear now and wear later. Looks amazing with skinny jeans and hides my tummy which is my problem area. Pair it with your favorite bralette for a sexy look.

Ah the Barefoot Dreams blanket that we all fight over in my house. It’s so soft. It’s a pricey brand but it truly is the softest, coziest material. I also recently started using the silk hair ties from SLIP and I feel like they really are better on my hair than traditional elastics. No pulling and snagging my hair. Feels great and comfy to wear.

Target and Amazon Swimsuit Haul!

Many boxes arrived from two of my favorite places to find affordable swimsuits! I got myself a spray tan and started snapping some pics. Only sharing the best of the best here! Target has free shipping and returns and almost all pieces from Amazon ship prime!

If I wear sunglasses, can I forget that I am totally taking pics of myself in swimsuits in front of all of you? haha! Let me start off with a *full disclaimer. I am not a swimsuit model, nor do I claim to be. I am a 40 year old Mom to two boys. I enjoy going to the gym and eating healthy but I also enjoy beer and sweets. ;) LOL. If you are in the market to see swimsuits on a regular sized gal like myself, look no further!! I typically wear size 10 in pants, M in tops, and I size up to L in swimsuits and jackets. I am 5’7”. When I comment TTS, that just means that the garment fit me True to Size in my usual swimsuit size L, so I can help you with sizing and ordering. All details and links to shop will be below each pic. Where can I start with this beauty of a suit, the pattern is just gorgeous and the tank style has a bit of a Baywatch vibe! This little tie front sarong is an affordable little coverup to give you just enough coverage for hanging poolside or at the beach! Accessories can really take your swim look up a notch. One trend that I think is the BEST is the high waist bikini bottom. I carry my weight around my middle. It’s the first place I gain and the last place I lose. I never felt comfortable in a two piece till I discovered the amazing-ness that is the high waisted bottom! If you are on the fence, give it a whirl! This suit is the cutest with all the details and comes in other color combos if leopard isn’t your jam. This long dress is a great coverup, is super soft, and has pockets! Perfect for after a day in the sun!

It’s good to have a black suit available!! I ordered both of these from Amazon and they are both available in other colors too! The one on the left looks beautiful for the pic, BUT I only recommend it for those that are on the shorter side or have short torsos. I am 5’7” and this one is pulling on me as it is just too short. The one on the right is super comfy and the mesh detail is a sexy little surprise!

Valentine's Day Looks with Westfield Lifestyle Magazine

So…something pretty exciting happened! Back In December, I was asked by Candice Berube, the founder of Westfield Lifestyle Magazine and Director at Lifestyle Publications, if I could put together some Valentine’s Day looks for her upcoming February issue. I was thrilled with this opportunity and got right to work as I had just a few weeks to pull together my looks! I ran to the mall and was on a mission! You ladies get me right?! haha! Towards the end of December, I had my shoot with Kat Kattler Photography here in Westfield, MA. Kat was amazing to work with! At the shoot we were also joined by The Westfield Lifestyle Publisher Danielle Barton, as well as my friend Jill McGrath for you know…emotional support! LOL!

Below was my first Valentine’s Look that Kat Kattler Photography shot for me! I called it the “Sexy Sweater Look” because we all like to look sexy on Valentine’s Day, but…there’s that cold weather thing that gets in the way here in New England! LOL! A little faux leather leggings and a pop of leopard are perfect for your night out!

By the way on my Facebook Page, I declared this cami as the one cami every girl needs in her closet! It’s that good!
